上星期五(3月28日)，因為出差剛好到了東京，特地早起前往上野恩賜公園，一到門口就看到一株滿開的枝垂櫻，再往最有名的賞櫻步道前往，發現櫻花已經開了五、六成，其中不少的吉野櫻已經盛開，吸引許多人前往觀賞。一大早的上野公園的人潮並不多，傑夫在9點多離開時，發現人潮漸漸變多，根據朝日新聞報導，28日當天湧入的人潮超過20萬。
