本季累積14轟穩居全壘打王的Nelson Cruz喜事再添一樁，4月份的好表現獲選單月最佳球
員，這是他生涯首度獲得單月MVP，也是水手隊史繼2004年日籍打者鈴木一朗後，首位野
手獲得此殊榮。
