想請教東日本通票pass問題

有看到官網寫22000日幣 無限搭乘新幹線 還有Nex 但是有寫到14日內任選5天， 五天是一開通就連續使用五天還是比方說可以選3、5、7、9號的意思呢？ 另外在日本購買時 搭乘新幹線跟Nex都是要事先劃位嗎？還是只能坐自由席呢？拿著pass到窗口給櫃臺人員告知他們就可以了嗎？ 麻煩各位指教
