電影《賭城風雲２》在曼谷開鏡，周潤發笑說這次邊拍邊玩，20幾年沒和劉嘉玲合作了，之後還要和她拍一些遊山玩水的戲。同片演出的還有王詩齡、張家輝等人，張說會參與這部片，完全是衝著發哥來的，發哥也不忘回捧：「我多謝家輝呀，我也是看他有份參演，我才回來拍的！」首集主角之一的謝霆鋒，因檔期未能回鍋，發哥也讚他：「都是第一集霆鋒做得好，才會有續集。」
