HBO今年5月底剛上映的自製電視電影，講的是80年代初期愛滋病毒開始在美國紐約爆發，
當時國家政府與社會大眾對此疾病的無知、恐懼及對同性戀的歧視因而刻意忽視，
甚至打壓相關的醫學研究與發表，任其患者與家屬自生自滅，
得病的男同志只能無助地等待死亡。
