縣市合併後，鳳山區發展快速，人口持續增加，高雄市政府都發局認為，有必要提早儲備
新的都市發展用地，己選定大寮捷運站西側約58公頃農業區優先辦理都市計畫變更，上月
24日已公開展覽，13日要召開說明會。
都發局說，未來這區塊將規畫為住宅區、商業區及滯洪公園，並透過區段徵收方式開發，
形成新的捷運圈優質社區。
