貴為名人堂投手、大聯盟史上三振王、同時身兼德州遊騎兵隊執行長的萊恩(Nolan Ryan)，今日稍早宣布他將在10月底辭去執行長職務的消息，結束他在遊騎兵隊管理階層的生涯。萊恩也在宣布消息的同時，將自己所佔有的遊騎兵隊股份全賣給了董事會共同主席辛普森(Bob Simpson)和戴維斯(Ray Davis)。
